Yay or Nay: Oscar 2013 edition!

Hey hey everyone!

Who saw the Oscars last night? Since I had class tonight, I didn't watch them, but the first thing I did when I got home after class yesterday was research the outfits =P and of course, I couldn't but share them with you all!!

Here are my Yay's or Nay's: Oscar edition!!! In no particular order =D

1. Brandy Glanville

I love Brandi. I love her on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But this dress makes me want to go pull it up!!! She is so gorgeous, has such potential, why the need to wear something that is clearly two sizes too small???? Plus, the color just makes her look naked....why Brandi? Why?? Without a doubt a NAY...

2. Salma Hayek

I don't like it. I like that the dress is a velvety black...and that's about it. It makes her look shorter than she actually is and it looks like she has no neck...nop Salma, that's a NAY for you too my dear! But props for not wearing a cleavage that can be seen from the moon!

3. Reese Witherspoon

Love the color. Hate the dress on her. Sorry my beloved Reese, but that dress is doing nothing for your body shape...if I were you I would fire your stylist....but keep your hair stylist because your hair saves you from a total disaster! Still...I have to give a NAY...but a small one...

4. Olivia Munn

Oh Darling...you look like you threw on a corset you had at home and then put your curtains around your waist...I do love the color on you though!!! But I still give you a NAY.

5. Kristen Steward

Ok sweetie, I know the Oscars are a big deal, but you don't have to look like you tried making a new dress out of your grandma's old bedding, ok? You can go a little out there, little rock-chic that we know is your style...not old wanna-be bride. That's a NAY for you too my dear. 

6. Anne Hathaway

Did you forget to get dressed? Oh no, you just decided to do like Brandi and wear something that would make you look naked...and what's with the hands? Were you trying to look like a bunny? I do love the pixie cut though, looks gorgeous on you...but from someone who had such a great performance on Les Misèrables (my new favorite movie!!!) I expected a bit more "ooomph". But you still managed to look classy and make the "naked look" elegant so I give you a YAY.

7. Jennifer Aniston

Looks like she spent all her money on the dress and didn't have any left to style her hair. Nonetheless I do love the color against her skin...the cut of the dress is timeless and elegant..and when in doubt stick to what you know suits you and I'm gonna say that's why she didn't style her hair in any special way, because her style works, right? That's a YAY for you too my love!

8. Jane Fonda

Hate the colour. Love the dress shape. And I can overlook the color because it fits into the new SS13 trend of fluorescent colours. So yes that's a YAY for you as well (even though that colour is blinding me!!!)

9. Samantha Barks

Oh my sweet Eponine!!! I think this is a very simple dress that doesn't really scream "Oscars" but it is elegant and black always looks good, right? Still, a YAY!

10. Kelly Osbourne

I love the bottom. I hate the upper part of the dress. But hey, the smile is gorgeous and I'm feeling generous so I'll give it a YAY. Still, next time try to make your outfit seem like one instead of two different outfits combined into one, okay sweetie?

11. Kerry Washington 

I chose this picture because I liked the color of the dress. That's all. It's ok, but nothing out of the ordinary. Still YAY.

12. Naomi Watts

Can this woman do anything wrong? Definite YAY!

13. Louise Roe

I love love love Louise's style...(and accent!!) so it comes to no surprise that I'm in love with this dress. Plus it's a princess dress and everyone knows I want to be a princess. The only thing I don't like is the neck detailing, but other than that she looks perfect. Definite YAY!

14. Heidi Klum 

Oh Heidi...I usually love what you wear my sweetie..but this is just waaaay to low cut, even for you!! I know you have a great body, after four kids nonetheless...but that is no excuse to bare it all out! No one needs to see your boobs except your boyfriend. It has to be a NAY my dear.

15. Amanda Seyfriend

As usual Amanda looks amazing! I just wish she would risk a bit more with her outfits...other than that love everything about this dress so it is also a YAY.
